Casa Galeano is a large Colonial home in the Vedado area of Havana, Cuba. The 14-foot ceilings and large wooden windows bring the sunlight in, and you can also relax on the patio nestled among tropical ferns. A private bath is included with your room.
From the upper-middle-class suburb of Vedado, lively Havana is at your doorstep. The streets are very safe, shopping is easy, and entertainment at large famous hotels such as Havana Libre and the National are only a 10-minute walk away. Just five blocks away is the world-famous Malecon, a broad boardwalk built hundreds of years ago by the Spanish Empire; it curves along Vedado's coast and undulates its way into Old Havana Harbour. One can almost see the Florida Keys 145 kilometres (90 miles) away.
Vedado is approximately four minutes by car and 25 minutes by foot from Old Havana. It has art galleries, museums, cultural centres, embassies, and more.

He and his extended family of grandchildren and grandparents are warm and generous people who also speak English and can guide tourists in all their needs.
